Dissolved oxygen rate of microporous aerators

Laying the pipe depends on the silt

Whether aeration pipe can be laid at the bottom depends largely on how much silt the pond bottom carries. With heavy silt, direct straight-pipe laying is not convenient for later maintenance — aeration discs are the better choice. Some users insert PVC pipe into large-diameter nanotube and drill holes; this reduces the microporous aeration effect and is not recommended.

The 360-degree aerator

The 360-degree aerator format has proven effective in aquaculture and receives very good user feedback.

Tube appearance and bubble size

Single-wire and double-wire nanotube aerate with essentially the same effect — the difference is cosmetic. The visible difference is surface finish: tubes with a rougher surface release larger bubbles, while smooth-surface tubes release smaller ones, because the pore size differs.

Blower sizing

Blower sizing for the same layouts is listed under roots blower.
