How it works
The variable microporous aerator opens its membrane micropores under air pressure for uniform aeration and closes them under water pressure when supply stops, preventing blockage. Gas enters the branch pipe from the main intake, passes through the connector into the gap between the aeration membrane tube and the reinforcing liner, and the micropores open under air pressure.
Where it is used
It suits municipal and industrial wastewater aeration basins, with high oxygen transfer efficiency, long service life, simple and quick installation, low cost, a large service area and a negative-pressure design.
Installation modes
Three modes: traditional, laid at the bottom of the dried tank in rings; hanging, with the inlet branch on the surface and the pipe suspended, so maintenance needs no draining and air control is easy; and platform, where several pipes are assembled into a ring platform that sinks for aeration and floats for maintenance.
